Its laborious official product name is "Hallmark Keepsake Magic 2012 Darth Vader Peekbuster - Star Wars Ornament." But what it really is, is countless moments of awesome! Ideally, you plonk this most fearsome of Sith lords in the vicinity of your Christmas tree, and it faithfully guards against nosy folks what would peek too early at them presents or, heaven forbid, shake them presents (You shouldn't shake unopened presents; what if it's a puppy?).

This Vader Peekbuster, boasting a jaunty Santa hat and a red cape and gloves, measures 4.75" tall, 3.25" wide, and 4.5" deep. And I'm pretty certain he's taunting the onlooker with that wrapped present in his palm, so malevolent is his spirit. Note that the Peekbuster is seriously motion sensitive. Anyone walking by will trigger any one of nine cautionary phrases. Last week a rowdy quinceañera next door turned Darth Vader into a chastising chatterbox. And, yes, it does sound like James Earl Jones.

November 16, 2012 - I just bought this ornament and it is awesome. The voice sounds like James Earl Jones. Darth Vader has a lot of phrases regarding peeking at your Christmas presents. Any Star Wars fan would love this ornament. The guys in my office were like "little boys" reliving a great moment in time listening to the Dark Side cautioning against peeking at presents. It is for ages 5+, but a fabulous present for anyone at any age.
